Hundreds of Muslims in Pakistan have set hearth to church buildings and vandalised houses belonging to Christians over claims that two males had desecrated the Quran, police say.
The assaults came about in Jaranwala within the province of japanese Punjab.
Police stated no less than 4 church buildings had been set on hearth, whereas residents stated as much as a dozen buildings related to church buildings had been broken.
Blasphemy is punishable by demise in Pakistan.
No-one has ever been executed for it, however dozens have beforehand been killed by mobs after being accused of the crime.
